Ram Ratan Das ji maharaj

Ram Ratan Das ji maharaj

an early age

His Grace Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was born in the vikrami samvat 1948 (Year 1891). An auspicious moment to become the mother of this divine saint was received by Shri Vijay Kunwari Devi and by the father Shri Chaturbuj Singh Ji.

From the childhood only he had got the spiritual talent, after undertaking so many appeasements, worships, etc. Shri Baba ji (Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji) was born……

His childhood name was kept as “Ratan Singh” and then later he was called by the name “Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji”……

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was very brave and the name “Fear” did not dared to touch him because his faith was very deep on Bhagawan Shri Hari……..

When he use to be a child, he use sit silently and spend most of his time in solitude (ekaant) and he use to play with his ownself without even needing the association of anybody else, as he use to sit most of his time in solitude without getting associated with the other children so people started thinking that is this child mad?

Why don’t he associate with anyone else and he stays within himself without the need of anyone……

That’s what the common people talked about him (but they did not know he had taken the birth on this planet to save the jeevas from the miserable cycle of birth and death).

In the childhood only he has lost his father but this incident did not disturbed Ratan Singh (Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji) because he had the qualities of a “Siddha Purusha”……

His mother use to take care of him from the beginning of the childhood and sometimes his mother also use to get worried that Why the Child Ratan Singh does not speaks much, Why does he spends the most of his time in himself, These kind of questions use to give the trouble to the mother……

Whenever he use to get any work which needs to get completed by his mother Kunwari Devi he undoubtedly use to do that work but by keeping himself in solitude not with the sanga (association) of others as he use to like staying in solitude from his childhood…….

GREAT QUALITIES

Mother noticed that after the passage of time, there were very Great Qualities that got developed in the child, whenever he use to see any Sadhu/Saint he use to go and run towards them and do their seva (service) , Great quality like doing the service of the needy, and developing the love for Shri Hari, these kind of very rare great qualities were seen in the child and these qualities made the mother very happy thinking that He is the pure devotee of the Lord.

Child Ratan Singh did not went to do any studies in any paathshaalas (schools) etc. but when it came of the Siddhants of the Scriptures, this transcendental knowledge started appearing and developing in the child like a miracle.

Previously there use to be less preaching of schools/paathshaalas in most of the villages and major paathshaalas were way too much far from the place where child Ratan Singh use to reside.

The local people living in that village use to earn their livelihood by doing the service of Cows and Buffaloes.

Child Ratan Singh use to spend his time staying alone by sitting and closing his eyes and meditating on the Lord, and whenever seeing a saint he use to go to them and perform a Dandvat.

He use to be a small child but when he use to close his eyes being in a meditative position his body use to wave, seeing that it was understood that he definitely is doing the “Dhyan” (meditation) on something.

Saints said to the mother, “Mata this child is a saint of some previous life, he waves while being in a meditation is just because he does his meditation on the Lord, don’t consider this as some different act as he has the mercy of Lord on him…….

Hearing this, the mother realized that this is very much true……

LOVE FOR THE COWS

𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯’𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 (𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮) 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘴.

Once the harvested grains in the field were fully grown , the topside of those crops were waving with the force of the air. Child Ratan was in that same area but was sitting in a meditation of the Lord and was not conscious of his senses, nobody had taught him the method of meditation but he himself had the knowledge of it……

Suddenly at the same time few cows enter into the field where the child Ratan was seated and his eyes opened hearing the noise in the field.

He saw the cows has entered into the field and his situation became complicated seeing this scenario, because he thought that “I am here to take care of the crops but on the other side these cows have came into the field while wandering on the way to eat the crops.”

Now that was like a real crisis for him that what should be done…..

After thinking about it he sat in the field but he changed his direction of sitting and faced himself in the opposite direction, then all the cows started eating the crops of the field and Child Ratan was not looking at them while they were feeding themselves…..

Some local person have saw this scene and quickly went to the mother of child Ratan, and told her, “Mata all the crops are getting eaten by the cows.”

She ran coming to the field and saw the child is sitting facing himself in the opposite direction, when she saw this she lightly scolded the child for this.

The child replied very sweetly, “Mata I can swear that I have not saw the cow eating the crops” and this only really was the case.

In this way he made sure that the cows must not go away from his field being hungry even though the family have to bear the loss, and even though if he has to bear the scoldings of his mother a thousand of times.

𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗶 was very much spiritually advanced which gave him the divine name “𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮”.

Since childhood only Shri Bhagawan Das Ji was into the Devotional Service/Bhakti of Lord Shri Hari, being a child he reached Shri Jagannath Puri and there he got an opportunity with the grace of the Lord to meet a saint called Shri Prem Das Ji and received the initiation (diksha) from Shri Prem Das Ji. ☺️

After the initiation Shri Bhagawan Das Ji returned from Shri Jagannath Puri to Shri Vrindavan Dham in Gokul. Reaching Gokul and coming near Shri Yamuna Maharani (Yamuna river) his grace with the folded hands prayed to Shri Yamuna Maharani to grant him some place near her banks so that he can reside there and continue with his devotional service…..

Hearing his pure bhaav’s prayers, Shri Yamuna Maharani suddenly a few distance took her waters and the waves backwards and an Ashram was emerged out of that same place, and the new Ashram called “𝘎𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘩𝘢𝘢𝘵” was built at that place…..

Shri Gopal Ji (Shri Krishna) was welcomed in that Ashram and that Ashram was called by the name “Gopal Ghaat”.

Many saints use to go there to have the darshan of Shri Bhagawan Das Ji and many rich people also visited his grace and requested to serve him….. Gaushala was made, Lord’s kirtan, bhajan and many more devotional activities use to happen there to please the Lord and to receive his blessings……

Many great devotees got a great fortune to become the disciples of Shri Bhagawan Das Ji, one from them were 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗶 who became the spiritual master of 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗶…….

The blissful experience which is felt by a Great Yogi after performing the difficult 𝘼𝙨𝙝𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣𝙜-𝙔𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙨, those kind of extra-ordinary 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘪 was acheived by Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji at that moment of life when he use to graze the cows in the forest…….

That topmost sthiti was attained by Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji without even performing any difficult sadhnas, these divine qualities were getting developed in him..

But this was not it, His love for Shri Hari was not getting the hold of anything, rather it increased day by day while he was staying and doing the routine activities at his home.

The love for the Lord use to increase everyday and the result of it was that this anuraag (love) of Lord Shri Hari use to take the form of the tears which use to come out from his eyes like a wave of a love…….

Staying with his Guru Maharaj Shri Tapasee Baba Ji and serving him with the utmost love and bhaavna, his love for Shri Hari increased even more.

Becoming pleased with his devotion, Lord Shri Hari blessed Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, when there came a “Ram Leela Mandali” in Noorabad. Near Jattadaari Baba’s temple in Noorabad, 𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 𝙤𝙛 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙖 begun by that mandali……

In the daytime Shri Ratan Singh Ji use to work but in the night time, getting everything done he use set himself all free and hurrily use to visit the Ram Leela to watch the Leela and getting himself drown more into the love of Shri Hari.

When he use to go and watch the Ram Leela he always use to sit alone without sitting with any one, whenever there came any event of compassion in the Ram Leela, his eyes use to flow the tears of love by seeing how much merciful Lord Shri Hari is and his love for Shri Hari expanded even more seeing the Ram Leela……

𝙊𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙪 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙝 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙖, 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙫 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙖.

Shri Rama (the one who became Shri Rama in the leela) worshipped Lord Mahadev and the army of monkeys crossed the sea…… Seeing this leela Shri Ratan Singh Ji (𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘴 𝘑𝘪) became so much overwhelmingly emotional that he became unconscious, lose the senses and fell down on the ground.

After sometime when he came back to the senses and became conscious, being in the wave of love he started shouting, “Hai Shri Ramachandra Ji, Hey Shri Rama, please help me also to cross this vast ocean (of birth and death) and take me along with you. O Lord where are you, When will you meet me, O my Lord.”……

On that full night he became restless and could not sleep due to the separation being felt by him for Shri Rama.

Since then Shri Ratan Singh Ji had already developed so much affection in watching the Ram Leela as his love for the Lord use to increase more while he use to watch it…..

He use to visit the Ram Leela at those places which were very far from the place where he was residing, sometimes the distance he walked to watch Ram Leela could cross almost more than 10 kilometers.

This is how his love for this material world decreased day by day and his anuraaga (love) for Lord Shri Hari expanded even more.

The day on which he watched the Ram Leela, in the night time he naturally would lose his tendency to sleep rather he use to cry remembering the events that happened and the Leelas done by Lord Shri Rama.

This is how the love of the Bhakta gets rising for the Lord (Krishna/Rama) without giving any importance to this material world.

BHAAVA SAMADHI

Once there was a station master called by the name “𝘽𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙪”, even though he use to be a station master by work but his Bhakti towards Shri Hari was very great.

He use to get the immense bliss by hearing the Bhagwat Katha, at the same time he use to speak the Katha too and provide the enormous pleasure to the devotees.

He loved the Satsanga and Katha of God more than anything. Biken Babu was the loving devotee of the saints and he had a huge affection for serving the saints and getting engaged in their service.

Even though if it was midnight and some saint use to come at his door, his wife immediately use to wake up from her sleep, put the vessel on the stove and engage herself in making the food (prasada) for the saint.

A devotee who loves the God also has the same affection towards the devotees/saints of the God. As it is said in the Ramcharitmanas, “𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘩𝘶 𝘈𝘴 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘢, 𝘙𝘢𝘮 𝘛𝘦 𝘈𝘥𝘩𝘪𝘬 𝘙𝘢𝘮 𝘒𝘢𝘳 𝘋𝘢𝘴𝘢”. Goswami Shri Tulsidas Ji said, “𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱.”

And a pure devotee always love to serve the saints and devotees with all their faith and bhaava in the same way he/she does the service of God…….

Biken Babu use to speak the Katha in a simplest manner but when it came on the chaupais (चौपाई) of the katha, his tone use to become divine which use to attract the devotees to the God more…..

We cannot even imagine how much love Shri Ratan Singh Ji had for the satsanga, that involving himself deep into the katha, he use to even forget that where he is and how much time had been already spent sitting there…..

A devotee has the deep affection to the satsanga that no matter what and no matter how much busy the devotee is in their routine, he/she takes maximum time out and give their ears to the satsanga, this is devotees real craving which make them love 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚.

𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 is the only way through which a devotee can grow their love for Shri Krishna and his devotees.

Seeing this condition of Biken babu, Shri Ratan Singh Ji became totally restless and remembering that leela of Lord he became unconscious and fell down on the ground immediately. Eyes were wet with the tears of separation from the Lord, people came near him, took him up and swung the fan, so that he can atleast speak something……

This is the condition of a pure devotee when he has developed the topmost love for Lord Shri Hari, that he totally forgets where he is and he just can feel Krishna and Krishna around him.

Similar condition could be seen of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who on hearing the “𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮” naam, in ecstasy, devoid from his senses, use to get unconscious.

Topmost love for Shri Krishna has these kind of divine symptoms in the devotees.

𝘉𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩 𝘑𝘪 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 “𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗶” 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩 𝘑𝘪.

Seeing this, Biken babu sent two strong men, they carried Shri Ratan Singh Ji on their back (who was not in his senses) and they took him to Jarara Gram (village) where he use to stay.

Shri Ratan Singh Ji was almost 𝟰𝟴 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 in Bhaava Samadhi and in an unconcious state.

Seeing this condition of him, the mother became really worried of his condition, but suddenly slowly his eyes opened and he woke up, began to find something here and there. Being in a state of love and separation from the Lord, he started crying and calling, “𝗢 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂? 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲? His eyes turned red, deep breathe was coming out from his mouth. The sensible people who were present there, started giving him the patience saying, “O Ratan, Lord has not gone anywhere, he again will come and give his darshan to you, if you will search for him you will surely get him”. This statement touched his heart very effectively, that 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙞𝙛 𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙝𝙞𝙢.

This is really a true statement, “𝘑𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘩𝘰𝘫𝘢 𝘛𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯”, if a devotee really has the craving to see Shri Krishna then he (God) also sees it that this devotee wants to attain me, and he guides the devotees accordingly, so that he/she can reach to him…….

LEAVING THE HOME

𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 “𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘴” 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩 𝘑𝘪, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩 𝘑𝘪.

When Shri Ratan Singh Ji saw all these frightful acts done by them, his heart felt the pain from inside. From inside he prayed to the Lord and said, “Prabhu I cannot see this terrible acts done by these people” and saying this he left his home silently…..

Now her mother Shri Vijay Kunwari Ji saw that Shri Ratan Singh Ji is not at the home, she thought he might have gone nearby the village. It was evening and then night came but Shri Ratan Singh Ji did not came back, mother became really worried.

She ran quickly to find the son, and reached DeviRam (where in the past Shri Ratan Singh Ji use to work, but now he had left all the work) to find him but could not find the son. Next she reached in Noorabad to the Gurudeva Shri Tapasee Baba Ji but still Shri Ratan Singh Ji was not there also.

Suddenly there came a cowherd boy, seeing the mother tensed, he said, “Mata Why are you so much tensed? Shri Ratan Singh Ji is sitting at that mountain (he pointed his finger to a mountain) wearing the langoti just like a renunciate saint, closing his eyes, immersed in his Bhajana”……

The mountain was far from that place, mother and the other people of the village stepped towards that mountain to see Shri Ratan Singh Ji, who was in the bliss of the Bhajana of the Lord……

Reaching that mountain, every one said to Shri Ratan Singh Ji, you are the only son of your mother, you can go and do your Bhajana at your home also.

Shri Ratan Singh Ji replied telling everyone, “At that place the gang of bahiliyaas has covered the area, they kill the birds and eat them, I don’t like staying there, How can I even do my Bhajana there.”

People said, “We will remove the tents of those people so they can go away from that place.”

Shri Ratan Singh Ji said, “No please don’t do this, I will bear the trouble. How can I even ask for the discomfort of those people just for the sake of my mental peace?”

Mother also tried explaining Shri Ratan Singh Ji to come back at home and other people too, but Shri Ratan Singh Ji did not left that mountain…….

The mountain on which Shri Ratan Singh Ji had came for his Bhajana, did not had much forest area. There a tree of “𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘶” and small grass were present on that land.

A temple of Shri Hanuman Ji which seemed to be an old temple was present there. Shri Hanuman Ji was present in that temple but the temple was not properly constructed as it seemed to be an ancient temple.

The way Shri Ratan Singh Ji was staying in that mountain, this made people call him by the name “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮”.

In the monsoon time he use to get wet day and night under the rain but he did his Bhajana very sincerely.

Sitting for a very long time on a rock, his skin became dry and harsh. He did not use to ask for anything from anyone……

The village people seeing the living of Shri Ratan Baba Ji, arranged for a hut on that mountain for him for the convenience of his Bhajan..

Pujya Baba Ji stayed for about 11 months on that mountain……

There was a huge epidemic (महामारी) in vikrami samvat 1975 (almost 103 years back) in India. The mountain where Shri Ratan Baba Ji use to stay was called by the name “𝗧𝗲𝗸𝗿𝗶”.

Seeing from Tekri, the dead bodies in funeral, Shri Ratan Baba Ji’s compassionate heart use to get filled with the sadness, his heart use to feel more separation of the Lord to meet him, he use to cry day and night to meet Lord Shri Hari……

Crying way too much for the Lord, his eyes got the swollen/inflamated (inflammation in the eyes), but his call for Shri Hari kept on going……

One night Shri Ratan Singh Ji’s separation got way too much high, requesting from the Lord he cried, “𝗢 𝗠𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂? 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁”.

At the same time, his hut in which he was staying suddenly catched the fire and started burning , but Shri Ratan Baba Ji closed his eyes, did not moved from the hut from his place because he did not had any desire to live anymore.

At that time also Shri Ratan Baba Ji was in the pain of the separation of the Lord. The fire started prevailing in the hut, Shri Ratan Baba thought that his body will get burnt in that fire, but still he was not moving out from that hut……

In this circumstance when Shri Ratan Baba Ji was not getting out of the hut and the fire was getting the grasp of the entire hut, suddenly someone holded the hand and pushed Shri Ratan Baba Ji out of that hut and saved his life……(𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢 𝘑𝘪)

Shri Ratan Baba heard a voice (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘵), “𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗚𝗼 𝗧𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵”. The whole hut was burnt down but Lord Shri Hari did not even let Shri Ratan Baba had any small cut on his body.

Hearing this order from the divine voice, he took his steps further considering this to be the order from Lord Shri Hari himself.

Further his Gurudeva Shri Tapasee Baba Ji gave Shri Ratan Baba Ji the guidance for his further spiritual path…….

INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE SPIRITUAL MASTER & THE RESIDENCE IN SHRI KARAH DHAM

𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙏𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖 𝙅𝙞 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝟭𝟭𝟳 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩.

He already had told his disciples that at this particular time and a particular place, “I Will Leave This Body”. (𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 – इच्छा-मृत्यु, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰)

Along with all his disciples Shri Tapasee Baba Ji reached Shri Ayodhya Dham, after doing the darshans of the temples, they all reached the banks of “𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙪 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧”.

Shri Tapasee Baba Ji took the charanamrit of his Lord along with the waters of Sarayu River, drunk it and sat on an asana there on the banks.

All the disciples started chanting the “𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢” of Lord Shri Hari who were standing alongside Shri Tapasee Baba Ji.

In this divine atmosphere, on the day of Ekadashi, Shri Tapasee Baba Ji sat in a meditative state (being in a samadhi state) he desired and left his body and reached the Abode of Lord Shri Hari.
Shri Tapasee Baba Ji had already initiated Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji with the “Diksha Mantra” and gave him the spiritual name at the time of his initiation as “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀”.

The place where Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji had stayed and did his Bhajan in his entire life “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗺” was the place of the Siddhas (सिद्ध संत). This is the place of the topmost spiritual enlightened saints.

Even in the daytime, the lions and the other wild animals use to roam at that place like it use to be a scenario of the wild forest.

His Gurudeva Shri Tapasee Baba Ji had instructed him saying, “Son, do your Bhajan at Shri Karah Dham, there you would find a small room which is broken and is not in the great condition, if you get feared by the wild animals you should climb on the roof of that room (many lions roam in that area) and do your Bhajan of Lord Shri Hari”.

Hearing this instruction of his Gurudeva, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji accepted his each word as his order.

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was fearless from the childhood…..

Bhakta Prahalad Ji was the topmost ideal of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, as the main goal of his life was, “𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 & 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙”.

Now Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji went and resided in the 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗺, he was also sometimes called as “𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘩 𝘝𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢 / 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘢 𝘝𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢” by the locals later.

Shri Karah Dham is the sthali (place) of the Siddha Saints, where in the past many topmost spiritually perfect saints had done their Bhajan, but living there was the most difficult thing that one could do.

At that time there was no village nor any kasba nearby it was fully isolated forest area where the wild animals use to walk even in the day time.

WILD ANIMALS IN THE FOREST OF KARAH GETTING THE MERCY OF SHRI RAM RATAN DAS JI

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji use to involve into his 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗵𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 without even having any worry of having the food also, because he already set his goal to be the lotus feet of Shri Hari.

The glory of his Bhajan spread like an air to the nearby places, everyone use to come visit to have the darshan of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji.

The eyes of the heart of Shri Baba Ji was now God Realized, now whenever even if any big snakes use to come nearby Shri Baba Ji in the forest, where he was performing his Bhajan, he use to consider that snake as “𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙖 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣” and not as a snake.

Once, A lion like wild “𝘽𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙩𝙖” (नर बिल्ला) when came in front of him, Shri Baba Ji saw him as “𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙝 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣” and these wild animals did not use to do any opposite act in front of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji. Because Shri Baba Ji was having the darshan of Shri Hari in every living being……

This is the lifestyle of the saints (also the topmost devotees), the way they live is like this, they always have the “𝙗𝙝𝙖𝙖𝙫𝙖” of seeing Shri Krishna (Shri Hari) in every living entity of this earth planet that is why they always remain fearless.

The way the saints lives is, that they always have the “𝗯𝗵𝗮𝗮𝘃𝗮” of seeing Shri Krishna (Shri Hari) in every living entity of this earth planet that is why they always remain fearless.

Seeing this behavior of Shri Baba Ji, now even the wildest animals have left all their anger.

The locals of Shri Karah Dham have themselves seen it with their eyes, that the wildest lion of the forest used to get calm when going near Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji.

(𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘩𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘑𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘩𝘢-𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘒𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘯𝘢 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴. Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji had many disciples and the famous ones were “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗶 (𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶)” & “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗶.”

Once while Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was doing the datoon (brushing) and few of the sadhus (along with the disciples) were also staying with Shri Maharaj Ji. Suddenly from the other side there came two wildest lions who were heading towards Shri Baba Ji.

If there would have been someone else other than Shri Baba Ji, that person should have tried to attack the lions or run away with fear, but Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji stayed calm, fearless, smiled and went near the lions without any fear.

Reaching near those lions, he said, “𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙍𝙖𝙢-𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙣”. Saying this Shri Baba Ji performed the dandvat to those lions (doing the darshan of Shri Hari in them) After that those lions went away to their path.

This much “𝙥𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙗𝙝𝙖𝙖𝙫𝙣𝙖” was present in Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji towards all the living entities, he always use to see his Shri Hari in everyone.

Once Shri Ram Das Ji (𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘴 𝘑𝘪) was reciting the satsanga of Shri Hari…… Hearing all the divine leelas of the Lord, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji’s eyes got filled with tears, with the arousement and the increment of love for the Lord…..

At the same time in the forest in that place, there came a huge snake, but now no one use to fear from the snakes because Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji had already let everyone believe that these snakes are none other than the “𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙖 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣” and there is nothing to fear from the Shesha Bhagwan.

When that huge snake came near the lotus feet of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, within few seconds that snake touching the lotus feet of Shri Baba Ji surrendered his life on those divine feet and left the body (𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙨 𝙅𝙞)

The divine saints like Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji are the crest jewel of this earth planet, they see Shri Hari in everyone that is why they are the most compassionate towards every living entity in this universe.

MIRACLES BY SHRI BABA JI

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji had the unlimited faith in the Naam of Shri Hari (Krishna Naam / Ram Naam) and he did not see any difference in the Naam & the Swaroop of Shri Hari.

He used to see Shri Hari himself in the Naam of Shri Hari. Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji always use to get his mind involved in the nectar of 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙞 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚….

Once there was a month of summer, there was a scorching heat in that summertime in the forest and at the same time the saints who used to stay with Shri Baba Ji remained hungry as no rashan (food items) came to their place…..

Kirtan of Shri Hari was going on, Shri Baba Ji was immersed in Chanting the Naam of the Lord, but when he opened his eyes he saw that there is no arrangement of any food items for the “Bhoga” of the Lord.

Seeing this, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji did not go to the temple to pray regarding this to Shri Hari, rather he took his steps towards the kirtan bhavan where “Shri Ram” was written on the stone and was placed in that bhavan.

Reaching near “Shri Ram” Naam, he started praying saying, “𝙊 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣, 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙝𝙤𝙜𝙖 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙖𝙢, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙮. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙮”.

Saying this, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji touched “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗮𝗮𝗺” softly with his lotus hands, and continued saying, “O Naam Bhagawan, now you can do as per your liking”. Saying this in a very soft hearted tone, he came back, sat on his asan and got himself again involved in his chanting and bhajan.

A pure devotee never considers the “𝗡𝗮𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮” & “𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮” as two. They in fact give much and utmost importance to the Naam of Shri Krishna.

Reaching near “𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢”, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji started praying and requesting saying, “O Shri Naam Bhagawan, today the bhoga is not prepared, as there are no food items in Shri Karah Dham, therefore all the saints did not still had any prasada and are hungry. Please shower your compassionate mercy”.

As soon as he came out of the kirtan bhavan and sat on his aasan, after just few minutes, there came the brothers – Motiram & Raghuvar Dayal from Noorabad with Ghee, Atta, Daal with themselves at Shri Karah Dham.

Reaching there, they said to Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, “𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗶 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝘀. 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁.”

Motiram and Raghuvar Dayal requested Shri Ram Das Ji (𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘳𝘪 𝘙𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘴 𝘑𝘪) that, “For this much rashan, it would have been great if Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji would not had beared the trouble of coming to Noorabad. Rather it would have been a great decision if someone else should have came there to gather the rashan”.

Hearing this, Shri Ram Das Ji was shocked. He replied, “Maharaj Ji has been sitting here only and was chanting his naam and doing his bhajan. Just sometime back he was in the kirtan bhavan. Then he has been on his aasan and never went anywhere other than that.”

Hearing this reply both the brothers got shocked saying, “How is that possible that Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji has been here only? He (his grace) was with us sometime back far in Noorabad”.

The brothers said Shri Baba Ji was present with us in the afternoon in the same swaroop as he is present here.

Looking at all these confusions, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji spoke up and said, “Bhakton, This is the leela of Shri Ram Ji. I have been here only and never went to Noorabad this afternoon”.

This leela was done by Lord Shri Hari, Being the topmost spiritual saint, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji made everyone believe that this leela is the result of the deep-hearted prayer that has been done by Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji to “𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞 𝙍𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙢 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣”.

LOVE FOR THE CHANTING / NAAM OF THE LORD

“𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗮𝗮𝗺” japa (chanting) has now entered into every pore of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji. The waves of “Shri Ram Naam” were now playing into every breath of Shri Baba Ji.

The whole day of Shri Baba Ji use to get involved in either the Kirtan of the Lord / Chanting of the Holy Naam.

What to speak of Chanting in the conscious state, Chanting of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was going on even while he used to be sleeping in the night. (𝘈𝘫𝘢𝘱𝘢 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘢)

Once Shri Maniram Das Ji, Pujari (priest) of the temple, while passing the way of the sant niwas in Shri Karah Dham, saw a huge snake on the stairs, hearing the dangerous voice he ran quickly and tried reaching to Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji.

Reaching near Shri Baba Ji, he saw that Maharaj Ji was sleeping. Pujaari was shocked to see that even while Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was sleeping, but “Shri Ram Naam” chanting was coming out from his mouth in a very sweet tone.

The topmost saints (or the advanced/topmost devotees) never leave their chanting and they love chanting the holy name so much that even while they sleep, The chanting goes on and on and on, it does not stop. (𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙖𝙥𝙖 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥)

Pujari Ji asked Shri Baba Ji, “Maharaj Ji, How to increase the hunger for doing more and more chanting?”

Shri Baba Ji replied, “Pujari Ji this topic is not merely of saying and listening. Either one must increase the faith and the confidence while doing the Naam Japa (chanting) OR One must keep on doing the chanting and then his faith and confidence would build up very much that one, then would not be able to stay away from chanting of the naam even for half a moment.” (This takes 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚. Then one gets the deepest love for the chanting and doing the naam japa)

With the chanting of the naam of the Lord, Shri Baba Ji was very much compassionate towards all the living beings…..

MIRACLE OF THE NAAMA OF THE LORD

Once there lived a thekedar (like a contractor) who used to stay nearby the place called “𝙄𝙨𝙝𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙆𝙖 𝙅𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖”. His living place was not far from that Jharna. His drinking water, his bathing activities, etc. were undertaken at/on that Jharna.

That place was also isolated and not many people used to visit that place those days. At that place itself one lion used to go there to drink the water and then lay aside that jharna for many hours.

Seeing this, many people with fear stopped visiting that place. And now it became a problem for them to get the water from that jharna.

Facing this trouble, the thekedar visited the place where Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was doing his bhajan. Sitting there for several hours he kept on thinking if he should express his troublesome situation to Shri Baba Ji?

Seeing the confused face of that person, Shri Baba Ji asked, “𝙎𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙩, 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙙?” The thekedar replied, “𝗢 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗶, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻 “𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗺𝗶” 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄.”

He continued, “I stay near Ishwar Ka Jharna and near that place itself I have my work to do everyday, but there is one lion that comes everyday, sitting, laying, and doing other stuff, that lion spends a lot of time there. And because of his fear there has been a stoppage on us to visit the jharna for our routine work. If that lion comes, drink the water and goes away then that is not a problem, but he stays for several hours there, which has now become a worry for us.”

The thekedar continued saying to Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, “I stay nearby Ishwar Ka Jharna and near that place itself I have my work to do everyday, but there one lion comes everyday, sitting, laying, and doing other stuff, that lion spends a lot of time there. And because of its fear there has been a stoppage on us to visit the jharna for our routine work. If that lion comes, drink the water and goes away then that is not a problem, but he stays for several hours there, which has now become a worry for us.”

Hearing this Shri Baba Ji replied, “𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘆𝗮, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻. But still if you are having the fear in your heart, then do one thing, When you see he is near the jharna, just go beside him and loudly chant, “𝗝𝗮𝗶 𝗝𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗥𝗮𝗺”. Make sure you chant the naam of the Lord loud enough that the divine naam enters into the ears of that lion. After that, the lion will never come near that jharna ever.”

Having the strong faith in the divine words of Shri Baba Ji, with full courage and remembering Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji in his mind, the thekedar went near that lion one day. Reaching near him with the great courage he loudly chanted, “𝗝𝗮𝗶 𝗝𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗥𝗮𝗺”.

When the divine naam of the Lord entered into the ears of that lion, he went away from that jharna and never came back at that place.

NEVER GIVING IMPORTANCE TO THE MYSTIC POWERS

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was so much engrossed in the Kirtan and Chanting of the Naam of the Lord, that whoever went near Shri Baba Ji got themselves colored with the divine vibrations of the Naam & the Kirtan.

Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji was not a believer of showing the mystic powers, which one gets, while Chanting the Naam and doing the Bhajan of the Lord for a very long period of time.

𝙃𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙝𝙪/𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙝𝙞𝙨 (𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙨).

Because if an advanced spiritual devotee/saint gets entangled into the siddhis then it becomes a “𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲” in doing the Bhajan of the Lord and then one 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 to get the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

Once a devotee came near Shri Baba Ji, while Shri Baba Ji was chanting. That devotee said, “Pujya Shri Baba Ji you must have got the siddhis with you. As you have done so much chanting and bhajan of the Lord, that these siddhis should always be serving you.”

Look at the compassionaite and down to earth reply of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji (𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘩𝘢𝘫𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴) first he laughed very loudly hearing this and replied, “Bhaiya, these siddhis are acheived by the topmost saints, we are just passing our life just having our all surrender on the Naam of the Lord”.

This is how, these topmost saints always remain soft-hearted and merciful without having any “ahamkaar” (ego) of their bhajan.

Seeing Pujari Ji sitting silently for sometime, Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji asked, “Pujari Ji What is going on? What are you thinking?”

Pujari Ji replied, “Maharaj Ji after two days is the Vivah Panchami of Shri Sita Ram Ji”.

Shri Baba Ji asked, “Yes, so why are you worried? What do you require?”

Pujari Ji replied, “Phool Mala, Fruits, Meva, Panchamrit, Anjeeri, etc would be needed for this festival, Maharaj ji. Our Thakurji would be having these great food items and then the prasada would be distributed, this is how our festival would be celebrated for Vivah Panchami ”.

Shri Maharaj Ji replied, “Pujari Ji Do not worry about all this. All you have to do is just pray for the same in front of the Lord and he will arrange everything”.

Pujari Ji, touched the lotus feet of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, prayed to the Lord and went away for his sleep…….

Next day when Pujari Ji woke up at 4 AM, went to the aasan of Shri Maharaj Ji to do the darshan, Shri Baba Ji asked, “Who is it? Maniram Das?”

Pujari Ji replied, “Yes Maharaj Ji”.

Pujari Ji did the darshan of Shri Baba Ji, and Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji went for a walk in the morning.

When Pujari Ji, for the service of cleaning purpose took the aasan of Shri Maharaj Ji, and as soon as he took up the aasan. What he saw was very very much surprising…………

Pujari Ji saw, there was a bundle of money which was placed under the aasan of Shri Maharaj Ji. Pujari Ji was shocked seeing this.

He kept on thinking that how this arrangement was done by Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, because there was not any rupee in the evening time when Pujari Ji did his service there, nor did anyone had come there after the evening time.

Then he understood this is the mercy of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, that he never let anyone know about all these merciful leelas he did with the grace of Lord Shri Hari.

The Vivah Panchami was celebrated with all the bhaava, the devotion and with the grace of Shri Ram Ratan Das Ji, every arrangement was perfectly done without any shortage of anything.
